Does your organization have public domain photo images of London during WWII? If not do you know the best sources for these images?
Have you tried using a search engine for the pics, or u tube

Yes I have googled it, found a few but thought your archives might have better photos. I am wanting to use a few for my mothers Memorial Service to help tell her life story. She lived in Deptford and Mottingham during war and was evacuated twice. Unfortunately, her family like most has no family photos during the war. Any public domain photos of the above areas during wartime would be appreciated, also Operation Pied Piper that my mother took part in twice.
Thank you for your assistance and suggestions. I will try U Tube as well.
Unfortunately, those of us on the message boards have no connection with the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ. The message boards are just hosted by someone for the Beeb for people to discuss topics of mutual interest, and as far as I know no Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ people have contact with it.
I really don't know how you would find out about photos, but I suspect the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ use a photo library service. Have you tried the Imperial War Museum? Or London Metropolitan Archives?
Is there a 'Picture Post' archive which allows pictures to be downloaded?.
The History message boards are now closed. They remain visible as a matter of record but the opportunity to add new comments or open new threads is no longer available. Thank you all for your valued contributions over many years.
