  With respect, is there any truth to the rumour that Al - Qaeda was founded by the Grandfather of Mullar Omar on the first day of the so called SIX DAY WAR / 1967? As far as I understand the name Al - Qaeda translates as THE BASE or 'foundation of the temple mount in Jerusalem'.
  According to sources in the D.NI (Directorate. Naval Intelligence) the Grandfather of Mullar Omar was killed in a SPECIAL FORCES OPERATION on the morning of the 5th day of the SIX DAY WAR. He was at the time living in the so called CRATER / Aden: Yemen. As far as I understand the CLOCK stopped and remained stopped until 1988 when Al - Qaeda was resurrected by amongst others Osama Bin Laden.

  Every report of Al Qaeda's foundation I have seen have it set in Afghanistan in the late 1980s as a reaction to the Soviet invasion.
  
  It is a loose, informal organisation, so it is impossible to prove.
  
  I rather suspect, however, that this might be an attempt to imply that Israel, or Jews in general, should shoulder some of the blame. Therefore I suspect the root of this claim of yours is more propaganda than real.

  Additional information regarding the foundation of Al - Qaeda is now available from the records of GCHQ (Government Communications Headquarters), Cheltenham. Apparently signals were intercepted by GCHQ and an on site SAU (Signals Action Unit) attached to the Naval Signals Division, D.NI (Directorate. Naval Intelligence) working at the airfield in Aden: Yemen in 1967 during the so called EMERGENCY. The voice of the Grandfather of Mullar Omar was identified in a number of transmissions emanating from the so called CRATER / Aden: Yemen. Exactly 367 transmissions in four days beginning within five hours of the capture of East Jerusalem on the first day of the so called SIX DAY WAR / 1967.
  During the SPECIAL FORCES OPERATION on the morning of the 5th day of the SIX DAY WAR a radio telephone, a wireless transmitter and an alarm call were found in the three storey house occupied by the Grandfaher of Mullar Omar, his father, his uncle and someone who remains as yet unidentifed, together with a reputed stash of two and a half million dollars in 1000 denomination dollar bills.
  The four men were killed immediately by an SBS (Special Boat Service) Team Leader operating on his own. ORDERS were SANCTIONED by the ACTING DIRECTOR: D.NI.
  PS: The handgun used during the EXERCISE was a GERMAN Flight detail: WALTHER PK with a so called STEN Sliencer obtained from a LOCKER in BREMENHAVEN in 1945 after the end of the Second World War in Europe.

  As far as Aden: Yemen in 1967 is concerned there is not very much to add. As far as the subject of Naval Intelligence is concerned there is a great deal to discuss and a number of incidents to describe which provide a insight into how Al - Qaeda operates. This is beginning to be understood by the D.NI(Directorate. Naval Intelligence) in the light of the attack on the Victorian Hotel in Mumbei / India. As far as I understand the terrorists killed 67 members of INSI (Indian State Naval Intelligence) amongst the one hundred or so people killed during the action. Some 34 naval intelligence men were injured. The terrorists apparently made their way to the fifth floor before beginning the attack, to where a conference was being held by ISNI. The title for the opening address was left open but the general theme of the night was: Who or What is Al - Qaeda? I mention this because the 9/11 attack on the Pentagon was centered on the wing associated with naval intelligence. The 767 civilian airliner killed 129 naval intelligence personel and may have burnt out the achive of telephone transcriptions harboured by naval intelligence maintained by the Pentagon since the building was completed during the Second World War. These telepone transcriptions included radio telephone intercepts made by the US NAVY in the Indian Ocean in 1967 when the Pentagon was particularly interested in the British Commitment to Yemen during the hight of the so called EMERGENCY. An as yet undiscussed aspect of the attack on the World Trade Center or Twin Towers was that the 110th Floor was the site of a sub - office of the US NAVY with a view of the Brooklyn Navy Yard. This naval yard was historically the HOME BASE of US NAVAL INTELLIGENCE. So far three CORE Centers of naval intelligenece have been attacked and destroyed world wide.
  PS: The question remains as to whether Al - Qaeda which is seen in naval intelligence circles as a deep set intelligence cell as well as a GLOBAL Islamic Terrorist Network and Organisation, actually seeks to kill naval intelligence men and women at the beginning of any action.
