Hi anyone know the soundtrack listing for this programme? a classical piano piece about 20 minutes into it.
Thanks Dave

I assume you are referring to the piece that comes in at about 23 minutes. I've no idea what it is but I suspect that a fair amount of the music used in this doc is just library music - music that is recorded especially for this sort of purpose. The piece is probably called "30 seconds of piano". I could be wrong. In fact, I probably am.

yes I am, hope you are wrong but thank you anyway.

Your best bet is to try to contact the production team. Good luck. I watched and listened for about four minutes and was pretty amazed by how many different snatches of music were used in that time. To tell the truth, I found it pretty annoying although normally, I guess, one would concentrate on what the presenter is saying rather than the music.

Yes it was a bit random, the content was very interesting though especially the American education slant on evolution.
Great piece of music though and I'm determined to find out it's source.

was the soundman George McMillan? (off Brian Cox's "Wonders of the Universe" lol)
One - doubtless incorrect - charge levelled at that programme is that the music is so loud, you have to turn the sound off and watch the subtitles to understand it. lol.
I agree, contact the production team. For decades I have found that production teams are happy to share what music it is they have used, and now with e-mails it has become really simple to do that.

I did it myself once. A documentary on art included something the like of which I'd never heard before, which was some of that Sardinian singing that sounds like a choir made up of a mixture of Jerry Lewis and Kenneth Williams impersonators. The production company very kindly contacted me to let me know the title and the artist.
It's the 15th of November and there is a red admiral flying about outside my window.
