The "Latest Reply" date given on the list of topics is not always the latest reply.
It seems it is sometimes the date of an earlier reply.
What should I say? "Calling all techies"?
Not even sure this thread belongs on Gid's board, but there's no obvious board to put it in!
(at least thread order is as you would expect)...
We dealt with this issue next week.

...and that was a short two hours....(Last reply posted 2 Hours ago)...er around 30 secs by my watch.
Hmm and that's 21 Hours Ago on topic view but 23 Hours Ago on thread view!
We know that DAB is not broadcast simultaneously with FM, although if we miss one time signal when setting the clocks it *does* give us time to catch it on the other. Instant Listen Again.
Wonder when the last answer shows as being now?
Still not sorted. How can I tell which are the buzzing hot topics without checking for "duffing", "pipe-smoking", "shed" or "cycling" in the title?
(lol tolhurst)
For all I know I might be posting on a thread started by myself where I was the previous poster.
The threads are already arranged by latest post (I think!) so please can we show the time/date of that post on the board list like we used to?

The newest ones are at the top - easy.
Anyway it's not got long left, so it won't be fixed now.
I've not heard anything about these boards but just in case there are a few things I'd like to say...
ahem
I think it was Abraham Lincoln who said "A-
Sorry, got to do the school run.

Don't worry, you can fill us in at 9:03.
Was there ever a story by Oscar Wilde called "The Portrait of the 6Music Presenter" where four pictures hung on the wall and, one by one, the lights went out? At one point there were only two blokes left uneasily occupying a diagonal not unlike a German Rail "proceed" aspect or a reverse Deutsche Bank logo (other bank logos looking like train signals may be available)...
I'm sure the story mentioned the portraits becoming user-unfriendly before that happened.
Doubtless the story was that the presenters themselves became ever livelier and did their best-ever radio...

Members of International Rescue had their pictures on the wall, with eyes that lit up in times of emergency.

true.
So which of us is going to be Jeff Tracy, see those little eyes light up, and say "Go ahead, XXX"? (name obscured due to communication issue with satellite space station)
Hi
This board is going to be moved onto the newly designed and implemented system within the next couple of weeks - so faults on here definitely won't be fixed now - but they'll be sorted as soon as the move happens.
The design will be basically the same as it is now and the date and order problems will be resolved as soon as we go across.
Thanks Peta
I'd like to draw everyone's attention to the Serving Suggestion thread where you can make requests for future programmes.
I'll be off til the 28th. Expect a big fanfare on my return. Though the fanfare will be for Lauren. As it should be.
Tom Ravenscroft sits-in in the meantime. He will be splendid. As he is every Friday night.
Salutx

Thanks Peta, encouraging and a sensible back up for when that facebook fad self-implodes
Mr DJ,
Have a good break ( if you can ... )
we're moving AGAIN? I just had to log on yet again lol.
That's what computing is like in the modern age. One large English bank (owned by a large Scottish bank and now actually by all of us) has its customer records on a system using what I shall call Littlesquirt XP - and support on that system won't last for ever.
When I told a nice lady at the bank today that she faced upgrading her system, she chirped "Oh no! we don't even USE computers here!" as she squinted into her screen.
Mind you, a large supermarket chain has introduced a card reader for its customer loyalty scheme. However, it has neglected to train its customers how to use it. Guaranteed FAIL every time.
Hope the new system will be woo. Don't forget to tell the techies how good they are!
Have a nice break, Gid. I suppose there's space in the Maldives now that Herrin is back...
The topic order should be correct now, latest at the top - with the exception of the pinned to the top thread - which is there for you to report any problems, we'll unpin that next week sometime when you've all settled back in...
Yep, I think the time of the "Latest Reply" is now accurate.
Post order remains correct on each thread!
