Thank you
A very good start to a dreary Monday morning!

It was lovely! Would you prefer Gideon to be a.m. or p.m? - He said during the show that he was more of a morning person. Perhaps he could be cloned and do both - or would that be too much of a good thing?!
Cloned would be good
It was mentioned Tom could replace Gideon in the evening. We could have alternate Tom evenings and then Friday would be a bun fight as it'd be a free spot!! (Rock Show night return?)
gideon told senior dublin correspondent that the night time show is where his heart is.
no more talk of moving to mornings, please.
Always let the heart rule the head!

Hi knerak
I think Gideon is very happy with the evening format, and I love hearing him at that time - it's just that he said it didn't suit his body clock!
hi candytalking
i'm just being selfish. i live in a strictly radio 4 house first thing in the morning.
robin lustig has been known to try and muscle in on gideon's evening show, but i stand my ground.
I've no preference as I can take my DAB to work. Last time Gid was doing the morning show, one of my colleagues came into my office for a chat, heard 15 minutes of Gid's show, then went back to get his stuff and perched at my spare desk for the week.
It's nice for a change, but stay in the evenings please!

So that's where he's got to. I think I spent the morning lazing about without the radio on, shame on me......

Have enjoyed what little of the morning stint I've been able to catch, but really Gid is in his element in the evening slot. Much as I used to love the old mid-morning show, it seems odd now to think of him playing playlisted stuff he possibly wasn't that into - veteran Gidwatchers may recall his subtle subversion of The Automatic's 'Monster'. Besides, what better way to finish off the day than three hours of the best show on the radio?

I'm all for the cloning idea. Anyone here with the technological know-how?

If he's at 6 Fest, then I won't be the one with a pair of scissors trying to get a lock of hair to take back to my secret underground lab ...
Enjoying the breakfast show - the music seems better with Gid at the controls. But happy to hear Gid back in the evening too.

Calvin and Hobbes managed it with a cardboard box.....
Gid followed by Andrew Collins - what a pleasant week it's been!
I am just so glad that Gideon was on in the morning four years ago - we had just bought our first digital radio and were programming in the various stations when we discovered 6music. Had it been six months later.......
Yes Tinsnail - Gid followed by Andrew, followed by Jo Good - What a Friday! And next week, during the day, Huey, followed by Cerys which I think will be rather good!
I just looked at next week's schedule on the interweb.
Huey followed by Cherys followed by Andrew Collins! I'm admiring the fact that bar breakfast, everyone is filling in! Thank goodness Mr Riley is in!
Talk about Gideon's show and Freak Zone on the 6 Music Message boards.
