Live Mercury prize discussion with Gid tonight 8pm

  The Mercury Prize and 6 Music tonight. Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Two and 6 Music will be covering the Mercury’s live - hosted by Lauren Laverne - at 10pm, we’re also running a live broadcast with Steve Lamacq from the awards beginning at 7pm.
  
  Gideon Coe will be leading a discussion online on the 6 Music site from 8pm until after the winner is revealed.
  
  While the guests guzzle champagne into the wee hours we'll be busily uploading the full performances from the 12 artists who'll be playing at the bash so you can see why their music earned a nomination in the first place. We'll also have photos from the red carpet as well as the winner in interview with Lauren Laverne.
