    Hello

Apologies that I've not been as active on these boards of late. There are many reasons for this *searches for violin and list of excuses*
... not least being so caught up in the programme. It's labour intensive you see. I often think of nothing else. Then again I often think of nothing at all.

Anyway I'd like to also remind you that the show now has a presence on Twitter. You can follow @gidcoe. It took me about 345 years to come round to the thing but it's very handy for throwing out ideas just close to showtime and getting stuff back from listeners. Very, very handy in fact.

For instance tonight I'm planning to investigate "Your name in Song". Exactly as it sounds. There are no songs about Colin to my knowledge. Or Keith. Alan...

Well never mind that now, next Thursday night I begin my part of our extensive coverage of goings on at Glastonbury. As ever, I'm planning to cover every blade of grass (hopefully) to investigate every possible area of live music. Okay, mainly that will involve yomping round the Green Fields and Avalon, the cabaret and circus fields and other places I don't know the name of. If there's anything in particular you'd like me to investigate then feel free to suggest it here.

    Otherwise, Keep on keeping on

    Gidx

Sorry to be such a girlie swot, but there is "Keith Don't go" by Nils Lofgren, "Alan in the river with flowers" by Lindisfarne, and "Colin occupants of interplanetary craft" by Klaatu.

We'll forgive you for not visiting these parts, so long as the quality stays up!

As a Keith I'm always amazed that there aren't more songs that mention my name. After all it rhymes with "beef" and "teeth". I'd have though that Lloyd-Webber would have had a go at it for that reason alone.

But I offer you "Keith Can't Read" by Green on Red. I genuinely think that this is the best Keith based song ever recorded.

But admit that I haven't heard any of the others.

Thought I'd point out that Toy Dolls recorded a song called "Keith's a thief". Songwriters seem to have it in for Keiths for some reason.
