I've just been clearing weed and mud from the stream for 1Β½ hours - now I am humming "Mack the Knife" and "How Fortunate the Man with None".
Can I have Weill's disease?
Were you doing the 'eep!' bit after 'lies a body, oozing life' as on the Bobby Darin version of Mack The Knife?
What worries me most is that I was visualising an American fast food chain with "Mac" in its name that used "Mack the Knife" in an advert! You couldn't make it up!
While I was doing the washing up, I remembered a production (from Warwick University?) of a woman striding across the stage intoning
"the rich man WINS... and the poor is a FAIL..."
though I think my recollection of that critique has been somewhat numbed by the interrent.
I think I have a bad case of Weill's Disease!
