been all over internet trying to find instrumental version of"Tulips and Heather" required for my son's and his fiancee's wedding later in the year. It was our party piece when my husband and I married and my future daughter in law would like it played as they leave the chapel. Any suggestions anyone??
Hi, I've tried to find an instrumental version but failed miserably. You could try getting the sheet music and asking the church organist if he or she could learn it although, in my experience, church organists have an uncanny knack of making even the most well-known music unrecognisable.
If you search "sheet music tulips and heather" or "tulips and heather sheet music", you should find at least one seller on a well-known auction site who has a copy of an arrangement by Joe Loss. Best of luck.
Thanks haroldseye for your reply. I thought of that at one stage, but the wedding is in a hotel wedding chapel, and I don't think there will be an organist. I'll keep trying for a while.
Get the sheet music, get a local band to record it for you........
