  just to add to this, with people there "live" with him Gid proves he would be useless on "zoo" radio because his dry humour completely cracks everyone else up!
  
  e.g. a cheese sandwich can be the best thing in the world if you aren't lactose- or gluten-intolerant!
  
  and Gid read out a huge number of very different bands who had all been on 6Music...
  
  great show!
