I'm not sure about these, I'm really not.
They do like nice on a young lady with slim legs it has to be said but it's the whole combining of two words to make a new word eg Skort that I'm not happy with
Portmanteau Words is the correct term
Brunch is another I hate
Webinar!
aaaagggggggghhhh!
Jeggings??? isn't that those two performers with shocked-looking hair off the talent show, or their dog?
Otherwise, sounds like a lawyer out of Charles Dickens...
If they look nice on a young lady, they get my vote. Who cares about the portmanteau thing?
Skort is just the north east way of saying skirt, surely....?
12 years there made me realise......
Is this some kind of "leggings"? In my experience those either make you look too fat or else like Max Wall...
...and generally those people you wish would wear them, don't, while those who do wear them, you wish wouldn't...
My mum thought Max Wall was hot.
I confess I don't know what jeggings are but I suspect that they are elasticated and probably worn by a lot of folk who spend hours in "all you can eat for a tenner" restaurants and expand into their clothing while eating enough to feed a small country.
What are you all on about?
What are you all on about?Β If only I knew who was asking!
uh uh
skort is the portmanteau for skirt and short, a kind of skirt that hockey girls wear that's also a kind of short
"Portmanteau" - "a sort of coat containing a pocket for a hip flask of Portuguese fortified wine"...
Actually saw jeggings on sale in Debenhams today.........
Well, I had to othersearchenginesareavailable it.
One of the top tips: "Jeggings Primark".
Right.
