  Remember Gid filling in quite nicely for Bob Harris some saturdays ago and i hope hes well regarded amongst the idiots that be at radio 2 (hello mr DirGen)
  
  I cant imagine a radio without Gid on, infact the thought makes me feel very sad.
  
  A modern day Peel in these eyes.

  It is terrible news, and bloody typical of the short sighted nature of those in charge everywhere. we'd rather pay the likes of Jonathan Ross who is such a bad role model than people who enhance the air waves.
  
  So long as we save some money to pay Michael Portillo to live with poor people for a week
  
  I love Gideon's show. Hopefully he'd be still on somewhere even the Absolute version of R6 would do.
  
  I Wouldn't mind not bothering with TV and not paying the licence fee - they can stuff 'Strictly Come dancing 'and all the other crap they seem to think is 'Quality' broadcasting

  I used to listen regularly to Gid on GLR, stopping only when the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ shut that down.
  
  I recently started listening to Radio 6.
  
  Apopolgies if my listening is some kind of radio kryptonite.
