I listen to Gid and think his selection of mostly Indy music is great and so I object to any pressure to broaden the range of music on this chanel. Will I have no option but to listen to Absolute?

????
Maybe you mean Lamacq and 'indy' music and meant to preface that word with the much-quoted adjective 'landfill'. If you are listening to Absolute I would suggest you also stock up on the vodka of the same name (without the 'e').Good luck.
Speakling tengentally: I have no idea what "Indy" really means anymore. I knew what it meant in 1985.
WHO'S GONNA COME TO SAVE YOU JUNIOR?
Sorry.

now there's a strange connection, the previous name of that radio station was also a brand of vodka!
Is there a 2CR Vodka as promoted by Richie the Travel Chicken?
I note that the thrust of the Trust is to have older rather than newer records which will fit with Gid's show! so the OP should worry more about extra speech content - a Duffer's Corner, like Speaker's Corner?
If anything, Gid's musical output seems to be getting wider. I've heard a lot more world, jazz, reggae etc. in the last few months than at any time previously and this has to be a good thing. Having yer ears opened to new stuff is fine by me.
Therein lies the nub of the old debate - was does "B-R-O-A-D-casting" really mean?

It's the abbreviated name of a motor racing circuit in the USA, apparently.

It's "anything you won't hear on Radio 1, 2, or 3". Or tinpot FM, goes without saying.
I've only recently joined the ranks of regular listeners to this channel and have to say I don't know what you call it but whatever it is its good. Thank you Hankplankton wherever you are .

A pleasure Rael.
Now you have to fight to keep it.
Spread the word.
May I say I always see the spelling "Indy" as pertaining 1) to a be-whipped adventurer 2) to an Alsatian and the spelling for the record genre as being "indie"?
