Has anyone, pop star (like Arthur) or otherwise, been better suited to their name than Arthur Mullard?
Shirley Crabtree and Marion Morrison both decided they weren't.
Harry Webb and Reginald Dwight, too.
Mind you, Kiki Dee is a marvellous name! (google tells me I am thinking of Pauline Matthews)
I see that Lili-Marlene Premilovich just shortened her name a bit. Maybe to fit her lucky numbers.

I was going to suggest Andrew Eldritch but of course that's not his real name....Andrew Taylor doesn't have quite the same otherworldly mystique.
Oh well, can I have it anyway?

And on a similar theme, Wayne Hussey has always seemed somehow appropriate (and I don't mean that in a bad way).

Whereas names like Mick Hucknall and Jeff Buckley under different circumstances would conjure up images of plasterers and plumbers, Crispian Mills was only ever going to be a flare wearing 60s hankering axeman for the 90s.
Both Cheeky Girls...
They were christened 'cheeky girls' weren't they?
And they seem to be quite cheeky.
..... maybe Prince... tho I've never seen Prince Charles in a flasher mack and jock-strap... tho I bet Ca....
No...best not...
X
or otherwiseΒ
Thomas Crapper?..(as otherwise as that?)..
Kate Bush for her hair*
I suppose Mick Fleetwood as well. I mean how much of a co-incedence is that, when he ends up in a band called Fleetwood Mac??? What are the chances?
*on her head
how about Fairport Convention? they're jamming in a North London house, decide on a name, and, on their way out, spy the name of the house.
What are the chances of that? Twiglet Zone or what?
(I always thought "Convention" was a silly name for a house anyway)
