Scritti Pollitti are one of my favourites of all time. Hell I even (shall I say) "accepted" their turn to disco-pop (I loved Chic as much as The Pop Group). Their two Peel sessions are GOLD. I just bought Scritti Pollitti: EARLY. It includes the two Peel sessions MINUS one track: "Knowledge and Interest". Why? I drove people crazy playing that piece over and over. IMHO it’s their best track ever. Does Green hate it so much? Did Tesco sue? Gideon, maybe you have Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ rights to very rare bit of gold in your vault?

PS "What a joy to hear the utterance of … Black Uhuru! I tuned in when Radio Times said that you had a Black Uhuru concert. So I was thrilled when I also heard 2 tracks of a Groundhogs session (I mentioned this elsewhere - daft jokes re trousers)! I have not listened to your show since. But, pound-for-pound (note for note). It sounds like a show invented for me.

I love Scritti Politti too and have posed with friends in big mirrors in Dorset pubs to re-create "Laurel and *Hardy* 85" too many times to remember, i.e. at least once.
I wasn't so keen on "Black Bread White Noise" or whatever, despite having been silly enough to buy it.
Why was this track omitted? Did someone need cardiology to have a change of heart?

No hurry Gid, save it up.
[I have EXP studio editor for all my Peel gold]
Do you like the track?
How come Green might not?

PS Re Tangleweed every time I post.
Did Lol Tolhurst from the Cure Mk.1 have a nervous breakdown? 10:15 was A1. Didn't really like the rest so much.

could it be that in all this confusion it's just an illusion, meaning I can't even remember the name of records I own?
Steve, I'd wiki for info on the real man.
I like "tolhurst" because
1) Lammo can say it
2) it doesn't involve confusing Cerys
3) I can legitimately lol a lot.
