Mott the Hoople

  Can I just say how excited I am that Mott are reforming for two gigs in Hammersmith in October. My mind has been a whirl since I heard the news on Saturday from the Mott the Hoople Appreciation Society, especially since tickets weren't on sale until today. Reckon you'll see more famous musicians at these gigs than any other you will see this year as the band was not only the best rock band ever, but one of the most influential, especially on a lot of punk bands.
  
  Finally, starting to relax now I have tickets for both dates, but I can't wipe the stupid smile off my face. I seem to have been waiting for this day most of my life.
