Hello,
This idea came to me on the exercise bike and it's not the usual one of entering next year's Your as a wild card.
The tracklistings will appear on this thread from tonight's show onwards (dec 11th.)
Any questions re tracks played can be posted here too.
Let's hope I remember to update it but I'm sure you'll remind me if I do
Thanks as ever
Gidx

Ironic, to have a Facebook site devoted to a man who promotes dufferistic practices...however, I love irony...finding it is delightful...
Not just dufferism!
See you over there then?
The tracklisting is back and as bad as ever. Songs are still missing. The buffoons!

Hallo!
I have a mystery song I'm sure I heard on your show, that I was hoping someone could help me identify. It must have been two or three months ago that I heard it. I wrote it down as Broadcast - "Stop Turning," but it didn't sound like the female-fronted electropop band Broadcast. It was a dance track that had an old, British folk song layered over it in a weird, unsyncopated way. This sample sounded a bit like the song in Robin Hood the cartoon, where they sing "Oo-de-lally, Oo-de-lally, golly what a day." I know it sounds silly, but I thought it was wonderful, and I'd love to find it again.
PS Do the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ message boards close down at night? That is some pretty fine institutional duffing right there.
When the message boards close for the evening, the announcer wishes you a good night before you are played the national anthem, (which I do hope you all stand up for), before it is replaced with a continuous mono-tone and a dot in the middle of the screen.
Or at least that's what SHOULD happen.
Can't help you with the song though, I'm afraid.
When the message board closes down, I get a Public Information Film abou spilt diesel causing bike accidents, followed by an Open University Sociology module. Then I wake up at 4 am with my Rothmans burnt down to my knuckles, and a can of Tartan Bitter dribbling into my crotch. Again.
Can't help with the song - sorry!
