Favorite Christmas movies of all time

  17 days away -- and wondering what your favorite Christmas movies are of all time...you can even do a Christmas best & worst (a movie you must see this time of year followed by a movie you wish you had never seen) if you want to...
  
  My top 5:
  
  (1) A CHRISTMAS STORY (You'll shoot your eye out!!)
  (2) IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE
  (3) A CHRISTMAS CAROL (best one I've seen was a British version, starring Alaistar Sim)
  (4) SCROOGED
  (5) MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET (the original, has to be the original with Maureen O'Hara)

  At number one it can only be 'It's a Wonderful Life'. It has me sobbing into my socks everytime.
  
  At the bottom of the list - a movie I've seen far too many times for my liking - 'The Muppet's Christmas Carol'.
  
  Somewhere inbetween is the 1968 version of 'Oliver' which my son says is a Christmas movie because it snows near the beginning.
