  wheres the next gid fest being held.how about coventry as it is the heart of england.(well almost)

  I don't think that we've settled upon a definite date or location yet for the next Gid-fest. I know it's a pain for many but it is probably going to be that London and there's every chance that it'll also be held at the Victoria pub in Bayswater, as they were excellent hosts at our last soiree and didn't charge us for the room hire or ask for any kind of deposit, (just a minimum bar spend), which meant that attendees were not charged for entry.
  
  I guess there will be plenty of grumblings at such an obvious location for the get-together but it is unfortunately the most accessible city for most. If it's any consolation I had a round trip of about 350 miles which entailed a taxi, two trains and a tube journey in both directions! It'll probably not be for another 8 or 9 months, but I like your eagerness and hope you can spread it to others on the message board!
  
  I may also be able to find some more mugs, (with a new 2009 design), for the event! I'll also aim to make the quiz a wee bit easier this time around too as it was a bit rock hard in retrospect.
