What? New time? I'm worried now... It's going to be 12-2am or something isn't it?

Oh good. 9-midnight. That works for me!
yes, an hour closer to his old spot
Got to be an improvement - I may even be awake for all of it now. I just need to get used to the change, these things take me a while.
Heh! The slow and steady march back to the morning starts here.

Ah but what's going to be at 12? I'm now firmly of the conviction that 12-2am will be the new "Best of George Lamb Fun Hour" - a programme name that will be wrong in two respects!
One down - eleven to go.
Only caught an hour of show last night, please embellish for those not paying attention.

Basically, in June the show will move to 9-12. Marc Riley (and presumably Tom Robinson) will do 7-9 (so lose half an hour and the 9:30 docs disappear)
Ah, so it's not all good news. 1/2 an hour less Tom. Bother.
Marc's confirmed on his board that he's going to be on Mon-Thurs 7-9pm once the changes happen. Tom will move to the Friday slot, plus he'll gain an extra weekend show alongside the 'Introducing' slot he already has. Marc seemed to think that Tom's new shows will all be 'Introducing'-based.
Well the only thing that would make me REALLY happy is for Tom to be on 5 days a week, BUT an extra quality show at the weekend, specially if it's new and unheard music, is all for the good.
a better time slot for the evening, but i generally do the listen again at work, I liked the fact I started at ten and knew it was dinnertime when it finished, I'll keep a clock next to me now to avoid the time-check problems.
Long live Gid.
m.
I can't listen again at work so record the show after Radcliffe & Maconie - and listen from 07:00 to 12:00 - now I've only got four hours can I go home early.
Seriously not only have they put Radcliffe up against Riley they've also put Gid into the the same time slot as well.
Four of the best broadcasters overlapping - very intelligent scheduling.
Enjoying last nights Quo session whle typing this much to my own surprise.
Cheers Gid
You'll have to get into work on time M73etc, then it'll be synchronised again. This country...

Must say, so far this week Radcliffe & Maconie haven't had a look-in from me... which is a shame, as they've probably played some decent stuff. But with Gideon following straight on from Marc, no re-tuning is required, and as a person who is obliged to switch off the radio at 10pm and make preparations for the bed-chamber, I can say, Welcome back to my radio window Mr Coe!
Talk about Gideon's show and Freak Zone on the 6 Music Message boards.
