Does anyone actually enjoy listeners on the air?

  First, let me echo the overwhelmingly popular view that George Lamb needs to removed from the once excellent 6music. And Nemone is supremely irritating also with her 'it's all so hilarious and I love football me' attitude.
  
  Secondly, I have no interest in any fellow listeners lives, their jobs, what they pretend was the first record they bought was, what local hellhole they see bands at, nothing. I understand that the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ has a remit and desire to 'reach out' interact and generally seem popular, but reading out texts is enough for me thanks.
  
  Does anyone actually enjoy the bits where the music stops and 'Dave from Dudley' reminisces about his first gig? Or am I just a grumpy old misanthrope?

  Oh I didn't mean to put this in Gideon Coe's feedback, it's more of a general gripe. Feel free to move it and delete this.
  
  Gideon is a fine broadcaster and much missed in his old morning slot.
