What do you really have access to, Gideon?
Do you have access to recent stuff recorded for Radio 1, 2 or 3?
the short answer to that is "most probably". It can get complicated but if there are some in particular that you'd like me to chase then fire away and I'll get to it.
Gid.
Would it be possible to get the El Perro Del Mar session from Mark Radcliffe's night time Radio Double One show of 5/6/2006? The song "Candy" sticks in my mind as having a good night time music feel.
I'll get to it. Wish me luck.

Thanks, Mr Coe.
If the stealing from Radio Double One route proves fruitful and you'd allow me to plan your show once again, I think you should also look at some of Mark Lamarr's sessions for his God's Jukebox show. One that particularly sticks in my mind is my Lynette Morgan and the Blackwater Valley Boys from about Jan/Feb 2007.
for extreme duffers only...

Still wanting the Fly's sesh..Starting to get desperate..May have to start one man demonstration outside Broadcasting House..What do we want, when do we want it,sort of thing...Burning fire in old oil drum and the occasional cuppa drunk out of one those old unbiodegradable polystyrene cups, while i shiver in my donkey jacket...Then again, its a tad cold..E mail it is then...
I'm on it. Or will be once I've had the necessary follow-up conversations. Feel free to keep badgering in the meantime. Or Picketing.
Gid

Cheers Gid..Picketing idea gave up on in the end,all those horse mounted policemen, high pressure water jets, stone throwing and then having to be carted off in the back of a police wagon...Na...
Remember that My Latest Novel record you enticed us to stay lishening with last night, Gideon? It'd still be very much appreciated.
Are there any My Latest Novel sessions you could play? I know they did a couple of tunes for Steve Pac-a-mac at Indian Summer 2006 but there might be more.
Thank you for the El Perro Del Mar, DJ Coe. Was it one of 6th Music's own sessions or did you get if from Radders?
I wondering if we could have the recent sessions by Explosions in the Sky and Nada Surf that many listeners would have missed due to the fact that they were part of a broadcast featuring George Lamb.
I remember a terrific session by Eastern Lane on Marc Riley's show. Any chance of hearing that again?

Many thanks for Flys sesh, those Peely sesh tracks sounding as fresh as ever and have the edge on the EMI recordings..Joy hearing, thanks again..Hoping get to hear some more over the next coming months,il keep tuned..
Couple of suggestions, Gideon, if I may...
I think I remember Lupen Crook doing a session for Dr Tom, can you repeat this?
And also, the Lucky Luke session (Nov 06) and The Royal We session for Marc Riley (Sep 07)?
