Kitty and the Lost Boys

Unsigned Tavistock band Kitty and the Lost Boys describe their music as "power-pop" - listen to one of their tracks and see what you think.

Q: Who's in Kitty and the Lost Boys?
A: We are Kitty (vocals, bass, guitar, songwriter), Blind Johnny (guitarist, vocals, songwriter), Jess (drummer, plus guitar and keyboards), and Pete (bass, vocals). We are from Tavistock.

Q: What's the band's history?
A: Kitty and Jess debuted on the music scene at the ages of five and seven. They met Blind Johnny in a rock club he hosted. Later, they discovered a kindred spirit in Pete "The Face" Jenkins.

Q: Which three words best describe your music?
A: Dynamic catchy power-pop.

Q: Whose records do you have in your collections?
A: Blondie, The Police, Elvis Costello, Fastball, Tom Petty, The Beatles.

Q: Which song are you auditioning?
A: It's called Would I Lie, and it's about a girl asking her boyfriend if he believes her (would you?).

A: "...We won't have to fill in any more of these forms!"
