Stop the world with Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Cumbria

We want to capture the world in an instant, and we need your help. Find out how and why here ...

Friday 7th August 2009 is quite a special day ... For one second on that day, at 12:34 and 56 seconds, the numerals all line up, so you have 12:34:56 7/8/9 It's something that's not going to happen again for a very long time, so we want to celebrate that moment and we need your help.

We want you to send in a picture of what you or your friends were doing at that moment or what was happening around you at that point in time.

Taking photos for the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Cumbria calandar.

Photos

Whether you're at work, at play, relaxing at home we want to see your snaps of that moment (but please make sure you are safe to take a photo at that point!) or shortly after if you have to stop the car, get yourself safe etc...

Once you have your photo send it to cumbria@bbc.co.uk or text it to 0778 6201956 and we'll add it to the gallery that will be appearing on the site to celebrate that single moment of time.

And just to make sure you get the exact time to take the photo Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Cumbria will be having a countdown to the moment during the lunchtime show with Richard Corrie.

More than pictures

If you fancy something a "bit different" from taking a picture (or as well as!) then why not record ten seconds of audio and email that to us - we'll use it to build up an aural picture of what Cumbria sounded like at 12:34:54 7/8/9 too. Just email your audio to cumbria@bbc.co.uk

And you won't need expensive microphones or equipment to do this, most modern mobile phones are able to record at least a minute of audio, usually as a .wav or .mp3 file - just have a look around your phone's functions to see how.

At 12-34-56 I was on Rampside road Barrow putting up roadside notices for the RLNI GALA which is on Sunday. THe sunshine was glorious and the views out to the sea were great - hope the weather on Sunday is just as good so we can show off our new boat THE GRACE DIXON in action
