Like Stephen Fry, Margaret suffers from Bipolar disorder and gets depressed and goes manic. One of the things that has been instrumental in helping Margaret turn her life around is the women’s coffee morning which takes place in Carlisle’s Tithe Barn on Mondays. Margaret's scrapbook The coffee morning was the idea of a woman with whom Margaret spent time whilst in the Garlands Hospital. ΜύIt was her dream that women could have a morning where they could drop-in, have a coffee or tea and chat about everyday things, and hopefully come into recovery. Margaret finds the Tithe Barn has its own peace and tranquility, far outweighing other venues, and feels lucky to be able to use it. last updated: 19/01/2009 at 16:05 SEE ALSOYou are in: Cumbria > Video Nation > Coffee morning |
