Roswell | Episode Guide
Harvest.

MaxA trip to the village of the damned reveals the alien threat.

Written by Fred Golan
Directed by Paul Shapiro

Harvest is a nifty change of pace after last week's emotional mangle. It's very typical of "new" Roswell - pacy, sci-fi fun in which teen angst takes a backseat.

The story rattles along, as the cast take a road trip up to a spooky settlement for Congresswoman Whitaker's American Gothic-style funeral.

There's a great air of tension - you just know it's going to get nasty, but you just don't know how nasty. It's exciting, dramatic, funny, and also shows the cast working together.

The skins are truly creepy - a threat made all the more effective by their neat and amusing characterisation.

Skins leader Nicholas (Miko Hughes) is definitely the highlight of the season. The idea of having a 14-year old super villain is inspired, and the casting is perfect - it's a superb performance, and you can't help but whoop at his vow to return.

This week's love:

Liz: Heartbroken
Max: Heartbroken
Michael: Courtney. He can't help it.
Courtney: Michael. Michael. Michael.
Maria: Michael. Grr.
Nicholas: Isabel. Interesting.
