		The Cast Some very famous names crop up unexpectedly on the cast list of Hitchhiker's. Some even more famous voices appear, too. The most famous of these must be that of Peter Jones, who is now instantly recognisable as the 'voice of the book'. There are cameos in the radio series from such people as David Jason (playing the Gogafrincham B ask captain), Jonathan Pryce (playing Zarniwoop), Jim Broadbent (as Vroomfondel) and John Le Mesurier (as the Wise Old Bird). The cast list of the TV series is equally star studded. However, in the case of Peter Davison (the Fifth Doctor Who) it is a little hard to recognise him under the make-up of the Dish of the Day. The very tall bodyguard who keeps Ford well away from Hotblack Desiato is none other than Dave Prowse - the body of Darth Vader in Star Wars.
