Look at the Princess Part 3
Teleplay by David Kemper
Directed by Andrew Prowse & Tony Tilse

DID YOU NOTICE?

This episode's subtitle is 'The Maltese Crichton'. The reference is to the classic film 'The Maltese Falcon' in which a priceless statue is sought after by all and sundry.

Once again, the Scarran's all-powerful mind-reading bad breath fails to do him any good. Previously he's sprayed the audience in a club and got nothing, then directly reads Jena's mind but fails to discover that she was a Peacekeeper spy. This time he hits D'Argo with it, forcing him to say that Chiana knew where Crichton was. But she didn't, and D'Argo knew she didn't, so what's the point of that mind-reading lark? It was also a little mean of D'Argo to pass the guy on to his girlfriend, it must be said.

Don't the Builders have anything better to do? They've taken three episodes to 'test' Zhaan when they could just have had her in for an interview.

If the Builders found out Moya was a good girl, so to speak, and then chose to test Zhaan, that means Moya knew what they were doing and yet didn't say anything when asked. It’s the first time Moya speaks in the whole show and she's lying by omission. No wonder only Pilot talks to her the rest of the time.

Does Zhaan really think she can fly – and land – John's Farscape 1 module? And why does Kahaynu urge her to use one of Moya's transports instead? True, she can fly one of those so she'd be safer and that should have been a clue that Kahaynu didn't want her to die. But then everyone seems to have forgotten this business of the transports only working while in contact with Moya.

The Builder Kahaynu was played by Jonathan Hardy, who provides the voice for Rygel.

When Dregon kisses Aeryn at the start of their rock climbing, he spins her around with an audible and impossible whoosh.
