Look at the Princess Part 2
Teleplay by David Kemper
Directed by Andrew Prowse & Tony Tilse

DID YOU NOTICE?

'I Do, I Think' is the unseen subtitle for this episode.

Floating in space, Crichton used the gun he grabbed to propel him toward Moya's transport – but that only works if a laser-based gun has the same action/reaction kick as a projectile weapon.

Moya's transports are supposed to only work while still in contact with Moya – so how did Crichton fly this one when our friend Moya was being decommissioned far, far away?

In part 1, Crichton told Aeryn that Scorpius was in his head and she, and we, took it to be an expression of how scared Crichton was. Now in part 2, Scorpius really is in his head: it's Scorpy's voice that John hears in his mind urging him to save himself.

How lucky was Scorpius that he found ro-NA to be bribable when her species is reportedly so anti-possessions? Frankly, he was about as lucky as Crichton finding Moya's transport in his line of sight when he was floating in space.

Crichton's spacewalk makes him the fourth Farscape character to survive exposure to space: D'Argo nearly died from it twice ('They've Got a Secret' and the season-bridging Family Ties/Mind the Baby); Rygel's bottom plugged a hole in the ship's hull (Vitas Mortis) and Moya's been doing it since day one.

This is the first time we've heard Moya speak – so Zhaan is rather gullible to believe it is Moya without a passport photo.

Does the Scaran know about the Peacekeeper plans? He read Jena's mind – or tried to – in part 1 but didn't seem to react as if he'd found out very much.

Crichton refers to 'Star Wars' when the Scaren weapon appears in the Princess's chambers, describing it by saying "Obi-Wan had one – but it was much smaller". He's talking about the remote drone that Obi-Wan gives Luke for lightsabre practice on the Millennium Falcon but by size and intent its closer to the interrogation droid Darth Vader unleashes on Princess Leia in the same film. Later, when Crichton is turned into a statue, his agonised contortion mimics Han Solo's in 'The Empire Strikes Back' too.
