Look at the Princess Part 1
Teleplay by David Kemper
Directed by Andrew Prowse & Tony Tilse

DID YOU NOTICE?

The subtitle for this episode is 'A Kiss Is But A Kiss'.

Crichton's gleeful reaction after finding so many women wanting to kiss him - "I'm never gonna leave this planet!" - foreshadows what actually happens.

Crichton's kiss with the princess starts off the problem with their marriage, but it's his kiss with Aeryn that starts the story.

Rygel gets his first snog, leaving him still miles behind everyone else.

The first time that the Scaran does his wobbly vision distortion effect it doesn't come from his fingers, it comes from his bad breath. But if he uses this to interrogate people's minds, who was he aiming at in that first club scene and what did he learn?

Zhaan has again been given an apparently important role, but one which soon sees her tucked out of the way of the action facing everyone else.

The palace provides any number of guards to protect Crichton but the princess herself can seemingly can wander at will. She's unprotected and unsubtle enough to have a kissing/rowing scene with loverboy Tyno in public for instance, which was handy for Aeryn who otherwise wouldn't know that bit of the plot.

The man Chiana says hits on Aeryn three times has an alien name that is pronounced rather like 'Casanova".
