John Crichton's protective glasses vanished off his face when Rorf and Rorg attacked. It happened at the same time as an odd jump cut, which probably means that this was a commercial break in the original episode. That doesn't let them off the teleporting glasses!
You could argue that this episode was a bit of a holiday for the crew as they got to spend time off Moya. You'd be right, as the mechanic character is named 'Furlow' - and 'furlough' means a vacation, especially for someone in the armed forces.
Some footage is repeated in this episode: Furlow tells Crichton about Aeryn's chances of recovering her sight and it's the same film sequence (slightly extended) as when she tells Aeryn. Watch for Furlow's over-the-top eye movement during it.
D'Argo flies Aeryn's Prowler down to the planet and this is the first time we've had a clear look at this ship. Its design is oddly reminiscent of a darkened Starfighter from the Glen A Larson version of 'Buck Rogers in the 25th Century'. Why doesn't he fly one of Moya's shuttles like Zhaan does?
The daft coincidence of Crichton and Aeryn being the ones who hear the Peacekeeper Beacon broadcasting news of a bounty for everyone on Moya except Crichton and Aeryn is explained. But the daft coincidence that it happened to broadcast the second they walked past is not.
Crichton's discovery of a wormhole that could take him home when we know he's got at least ten more episodes to go in this season is similar one in Star Trek Voyager. 'Eye of the Needle', the sixth episode, had a wormhole too narrow for the ship to go through. D'oh!
