The Golden Jubilee Celebrations started early for Little Heath Primary School in Spring Road, Coventry.
Keen to celebrate before half term, on 28 May the school decorated the playground with regalia and bunting and a teacher's mother was dressed as Her Majesty the Queen.
The party included a special meal and a toss the tiara competition.

On Saturday 1 June 2002, Coventry had its first ever Godiva Street Festival with the very best of street entertainment.
The whole day was packed with music, comedy and breathtaking acrobatics, all for free. Acts from Tanzania and Brazil joined some of Britain's finest street performers for more than six hours of fun and frolics for all the family.
Eight locations around the city centre hosted the festival performers, from tightrope walkers to drummers, from unicycling to stilt-walking. The skills on show were astonishing.
ÌýThe bank holiday just wasn't long enough for Nuneaton and Bedworth, who are pushing the boat out with 10 days of events focussed around the town centre and the Almshouses.
The events have so far included a flower festival, live music, Irish dancers, tree-planting, exhibitions, a tea dance and special services.
A classic car motorcade is still to come, too!
ÌýMusic Live rocks the Cathedral

Musical acts from all over the world performed in front of a huge crowd for Music Live in Coventry, in the stunning setting of the cathedral steps.
The stage hosted a huge number of top named throughout the whole day on Monday 3 June.
The Bluetones headlined the event, joined by the Skadivas Silinder Pardesi, Mrittika Arts, Danny Docherty's School of Irish Dance and acappella group Coventry Worldsong.
Choirs from Holbrooks Primary School and Grangehurst School also sang for the damp but cheerful crowd.

The events in Rugby's Caldecott Park attracted more than 400 people. Despite an early downpour, the crowd were entertained by loads of live dancing and music.
The fun included the Swing Fever jazz band, face painting, a story telling theatre, a magic cat and the Jaibes street dance group.
Jaibes is a group set up by 16 year-old Jaibe when she was only 14. At the party she led about 60 dancers, aged between 7 and 17 in a number of superb dances.
A new website celebrating Rugby was also launched at the party, with the release of hundreds of bgalloons. The Visit Rugby site is linked on the left.
Everyone had a great time, despite the weather.
ÌýResidents in Nicolas Park Estate in Nuneaton decided to have a small party that turned out to be a huge event! The residents helped raise over £3,000 through car boot sales, bingo games and skittles.
With this they funded a huge party for over 700 people that included a bouncy castle, games and fireworks at the Ambleside Club and park in Ableside Way.
ÌýThe Mad Hatter's Tea Party

A Mad Matter's tea party was held in Longford Park to celebrate the Golden Jubilee on 3 June 2002.
Children were delighted with the face painting, water colouring and hat making.
Entertainment included cheerleaders, magic, Salsa, Morris dancing, clowning, cricket and a gospel choir.
Caribbean, Asian and
traditional barbecue cookery fed the happy crowds.
