It's an opportunity for one young local person to work alongside the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Cornwall webteam, producing your very own web pages. Find out how to apply. Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Blast takes place in Cornwall from July through until September 2009. It's an opportunity for one enthusiastic young person, aged between 18-22 to go out and about reporting on various music style events and stories in Cornwall. Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Cornwall has been home to local blast reporters for many years, and has proven to be a great grounding for future journalists. Former Blast reporter Alex Full Our very first Blast reporter, Alex Full is now working at Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 1. Past reporters like Laura Snapes went on to gain further experience at Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Top of the Pops and the NME. While former Blast reporter in Cornwall Amy Hall, spent three months working as a music journalist in India. Re-visit our Blast reports from summer 2008: Blast reporters in the past have had the chance to cover events like the Boardmasters in Newquay, the Eden Sessions, as well as finding out what makes Cornwall such a hot bed of musical talent.
