Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ

Time's been flying by - it doesn't feel like a week since I was last at Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Cornwall, doing my previous diary entry.Μύ It's been an interesting seven days!

I decided to make my first proper article about something in my local area, and thought of a friend of mine who is a member of the local sailing club.

He agreed to be interviewed (very informally) and I managed to get a good deal of information from him about several different areas of sailing. I learned many interviewing techniques from my training days in Bristol, but I felt a bit strange interviewing someone I'd known for years!

Thankfully I got all I needed, as well as a few photographs. I put all this together to make my first report. I'm gradually getting more used to the software, but it isn't anywhere near as complicated as I had feared before starting the placement.

This weekend, I'm going to Gig on the Green in Truro, not far from where Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Cornwall is based. It's a large, one-day music festival featuring many bands, and best of all, it's free!

ΜύI'll be there with some recording equipment, a camera and a notepad, aiming to capture the atmosphere of the event. Hopefully the weather will be as sunny it has been recently.

I'll have that report up as soon as possible, and in the meantime, I'll be keeping a lookout for any other weird and wonderful events happening in Cornwall!
