Terms and Conditions

Please read all the information below regarding ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Cornwall's Car Sticker competition.

1. The ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Code of Conduct for competitions can be found at: www.bbc.co.uk/competitioncode.

2. The competition is open to all residents of the county of Cornwall which is Radio Cornwall's transmission area except ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ employees and anyone connected with the competition.Μύ It is only open to entrants aged 17 and over.

3. You may submit an entry to the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Cornwall car sticker competition either by post or email. You must be either the owner of a car or have the owner’s permission to enter. To enter, listeners will need to answer a question about ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Cornwall,Μύ stick a ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Cornwall car sticker inside the back window of the car and take a colour photo of the sticker,Μύ including the number plate.Μύ

The answer to the question andΜύ colour picture should be either printed and sent in the post to ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Cornwall β€œSpot It Yourself,”Μύ Phoenix Wharf, Truro, Cornwall TR1 1UA… or emailed to radio.cornwall@bbc.co.uk with β€œCar Sticker Competition” as the email subject.Μύ Answers and photos can also be handed in person to staff at public events attended by ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Cornwall. Registration numbers and colour [AND MAKE?] of car must be clearly visible

a. By post: The image should be 4x3, no larger than A4. Images will not be returned. Please make sure that you include your name, address and telephone number on a separate sheet.

b. By email: The image should be 4x3 and be no more than 1 megabyte in size. Attach your digital image to an email and send the email to radio.cornwall@bbc.co.uk Please make sure that you also include your name, address and telephone number.

4. Each week that the competition is running a question will be asked on air once during each programme. Details of how to obtain car stickers will also be given.

5. Entries must be received by 9am each Monday to be eligible for that week’s draw. All photos with the correct answer to that week’s question will go into a draw to be made on Monday by the Local Radio Administrator or her deputy. Each Monday 7 numbers will be drawn, one for each day of the week. The car registration numbers will be played out in recorded annoucements on ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Cornwall programmes between 6am and 6pm every day.

6. Entrants must listen to ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Cornwall to find out if they have been selected. Prizes can be claimed either by phone on 01872 222222 or by email to radio.cornwall@bbc.co.uk. Entrants must be able to state the colour and model of the car to verify their claim. Entrants must claim their prize within the 7 days following the broadcast of the registration number.

7. Entrants can only enter once but their entry will be automatically included in the draw each week unless they win. Winning entrants will be withheld from the four draws following their win. Entrants who are selected but do not claim their prize within the time limit will remain in the draw.

8. The prize is a visit to ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Cornwall for the winner and up to three guests.Μύ The prize includes a tour of ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Cornwall meeting presenters and staff, light refreshments, and the opportunity for the winner to sit in on the programme of his or her choice.Μύ Winners will be deemed to have consented to take part in a Radio Cornwall programme. The prize must be taken within 3 months of the broadcast of the registration number. No expenses are included in the prize.

9. The prize is as stated. It is not transferable and there is no cash alternative.

10. Information provided will only be used for the purposes of this competition.

11. If entrants no longer wish their entries to remain in the draw they should contact ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Cornwall in writing or by email.

12. To be eligible for the draw, entries must include a correct question answer and a photo which clearly displays the vehicle’s registration number.

13. If on any Monday there are fewer than 30 eligible entries for the draw the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ reserves the right to cancel the draw for that week.

14. The first draw will be made on Monday June 30, 2008.Μύ The competition will continue until further notice.

15. By entering the competition all entrants are deemed to have granted the right for their entries to be published online, in the press or in any other media as the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ thinks fit.

16. All entrants must supply their names and addresses and daytime telephone number. The ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ will only ever use personal details for the purposes of administering this competition, and will not publish them or provide them to anyone without permission. 17. ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ's decision as to the winner is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.

18.. The winner will be contacted within 3 days of claiming.Μύ If the winner is unable to be contacted after reasonable attempts have been made the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ reserves the right to substitute a runner up.

19. Only one entry is allowed per entrant regardless of method of entry.

20. Entrants must agree to take part in any post-competition publicity.

21. The ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ reserves the right to cancel or alter or amend the competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise outside of its control.
