The Holloways formed in the infamous grotty boozer called Nambucca on Holloway Road, north London, back in November 2004.

Their album 'So this is great Britain' was released on the TVT label and the band have since attracted huge attention from both the media and earned themselves a loyal live following.

This isn't the first time the North London band have played in Cornwall.

During the summer of 2007 they backed the Friends of the Earth's 'The Big Ask' campaign promoting eco-friendly tourism and encouraging people to put pressure on the Government to bring in a strong climate law.

They made the decision to tour through UK seaside towns, taking to the road in an old fashioned big red London bus as a tribute to the Cliff Richard's film before heading off to towns as Brighton and Penzance - where they played The Acorn Theatre.
