Football fans can enjoy live commentary of some of the biggest matches of the Premier League each week on �鶹Լ�� Radio 5 and �鶹Լ�� Sounds. There will also be highlights of every fixture on Match of the Day and Match of the Day 2 on �鶹Լ�� One, �鶹Լ�� iPlayer and on the �鶹Լ�� Sport website and app.

Can I get a copy of a programme I featured in?

If you or your company, organisation or property has been featured in a �鶹Լ�� programme, you may be able to purchase a copy. Please read the information below carefully and if you would like to request a copy, click on the link at the end of this page.

The copy supplied is for personal use only. Any unauthorised use, transmission, distribution or reproduction of the material supplied through the Contributor Access process is not permitted under any circumstances.

Who can make a request?

Anyone who has made a substantial contribution to a programme, e.g. credited as a performer, writer, guest or production team member. This does not include studio audience members or those seen only in a crowd scene or group. Relatives may make a request on the subject's behalf.

What programmes are not available?

Programmes not broadcast on the �鶹Լ�� or other non-�鶹Լ�� programmes
Programmes not held in the �鶹Լ�� Archives
No sports programmes pre-1966. Sports programmes may not be available dependent on age or original source format.
�鶹Լ�� World Service radio and �鶹Լ�� World News television programmes
Regional news, local radio and programmes broadcast only on �鶹Լ�� Scotland, �鶹Լ�� Northern Ireland or �鶹Լ�� Wales
Copies of programmes only available on film (due to the higher cost of providing copies of acceptable quality)

How much does it cost?

We are required to cover all the costs of providing copies. Costs include research, sourcing and transferring of material, administrative and postal charges.
Programmes copies are delivered as digital files. Television programmes as MP4 files; radio as WAV files.

Prices:

Digital file (radio programmes supplied as WAV, TV programmes as MP4)	£60
Digital file (MP4 or WAV) of subsequent episodes in a series (when ordered at the same time)	£30

If you were offered a free copy by the production team, please contact them directly as �鶹Լ�� Archives cannot provide a copy free of charge.

Copies supplied to contributors may be made from archive recordings of varying quality reflecting the age and original format. Therefore, the standard of copies made from older formats may be considerably lower than those from more recent programmes.

Where can I find details of the �鶹Լ��’s religious programming for Christmas 2024?

Across the �鶹Լ�� on TV, �鶹Լ�� iPlayer, Radio and World Service, we have a range of religious programmes for Christmas 2024. These include on �鶹Լ�� One and �鶹Լ�� iPlayer, Midnight Mass from St Mary’s Church Warwick and Christmas Morning Service from Halifax Minster. On �鶹Լ�� Two on 24 December, we will be showing Carols From King’s.

On Radio and �鶹Լ�� Sounds, listeners can enjoy A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols live from the Chapel of King’s College live on �鶹Լ�� Radio Two on Christmas Eve.

On 25 December, listeners can tune in to �鶹Լ�� Radio 2's Beverley Knight's Gospel Revue.

You could try using a music identification app or an internet search engine to discover what music was played during a programme. Information about the music used in a TV programme might also be made available on the programme's website or on individual episode pages. Use the �鶹Լ�� Programmes website to find the programme website you're looking for.

The background or atmospheric music used in a programme?

Sometimes music is taken from our internal production library which means it's not available commercially in the same way other music might be. It also means we may not have information such as track names or artists.

How to buy music featured in a programme?

Please check with local or online entertainment retailers to see if the soundtrack you'd like to purchase has been or will be commercially released. Unfortunately, the �鶹Լ�� can't respond to individual queries about commercial products

Where can I find details of the �鶹Լ��’s Christmas 2024 TV and iPlayer programmes over the festive period?

The �鶹Լ�� has a range of Christmas programming on TV and iPlayer. We have something for everyone including blockbuster movies, drama, comedy, entertainment, arts, documentaries, music and religious programming.

Among the �鶹Լ��’s festive highlights, we have the much anticipated last ever episode of Gavin and Stacey. Also on Christmas Day, we have Doctor Who and EastEnders. Call the Midwife has two Christmas specials and Mrs Brown’s Boys has Christmas and New Year specials. The �鶹Լ�� also has the premiere of Wallace & Gromit’s new feature length adventure ‘Vengeance Most Fowl’ on Christmas Day.

The �鶹Լ�� has not forgotten its younger viewers. Among the range of Christmas programmes for C�鶹Լ�� and CBeebies viewers we have Nikhil & Jay the Christmas Wish on Christmas Day and this year’s CBeebies panto Beauty and the Beast is available on iPlayer.

Where can I find information about Christmas 2024 programming across �鶹Լ�� Radio and on �鶹Լ�� Sounds

The �鶹Լ�� has a range of programming over the festive period across �鶹Լ�� Radio and on �鶹Լ�� Sounds. Highlights include Mariah Carey presenting All I Want For Christmas Is You on �鶹Լ�� Radio 2 on Christmas Day. On �鶹Լ�� Radio 1 on 20 December, Jack Saunders announces The Official Christmas Number 1.

�鶹Լ�� Radio 4’s Today programme has its usual Christmas Guest Editors from 24 December. This year these feature, Frank Cottrell-Boyce, Dwayne Fields, Sir Sajid Javid, Professor Irene Tracey, Baroness Floella Benjamin and Dame Laura Kenny.

On �鶹Լ�� Sounds, listeners can enjoy curated mixes and festive specials. There will be Christmas podcast specials from Off The Telly, Sidetracked with Annie and Nick, Uncanny, Pop Top 10, Make Me A Mixtape, Miss Me? and Young Again.

The props and costumes used in our programmes can come from a variety of different sources, and we don’t usually have information to give out on them.

You might want to try searching for the official social media accounts for the programme, for example on X (formerly known as Twitter) or Facebook. They may post information about the props or costumes used on their programme there.

Can I get a transcript for a TV or radio programme?

You can access transcripts for In Touch on �鶹Լ�� Radio 4 by visiting the specific episode page. Transcripts are also available for most Reith Lectures on each individual episode page. You can also access scripts for some �鶹Լ�� programmes on the �鶹Լ�� Writersroom website.

Aside from these examples, transcripts are rarely made available for �鶹Լ�� radio or TV programmes. On the occasion that a transcript is made available, you can find it on the programme’s website. Check our A-Z programme directory to find the programme's website.

We'd recommend checking in with online or local retailers to see if the programme you are looking for has been released commercially.

It's no longer possible to buy copies of programmes directly from the �鶹Լ�� in the UK, but we continue to publish a range of DVDs through �鶹Լ�� Studios.
