Can I submit a script to the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ?

The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Writersroom’s Open Call scheme accepts script submissions once a year. Both new and experienced writers from across the UK and Republic of Ireland can submit an original script of at least 30 pages written for film, TV, radio, and stage. ΜύFor further terms and conditions, as well as information on how and when to submit a script to the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Writersroom, please visit the website here.

Please note that the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Writersroom does not commission or produce the scripts submitted to Open Call so they should not be sent in with this expectation, nor does the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Writersroom act as the production or script department for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ programming.Μύ The opportunity is designed to identify and support writers’ careers through bespoke and unpaid screenwriting development schemes. ΜύFor further information on how the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Writersroom works, please read this blog post: How We Find and Develop Writers.

You can find a host of other writing opportunities from the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ and across the industry on the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Writersroom Opportunities page.

There is currently no process by which Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Content takes unsolicited ideas from the public. ΜύIf you are interested in finding out more about the commissioning process, please refer to the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Commissioning website.
