A listener complained about the programme’s coverage of the previous day’s speech by the UN Secretary-General about the Israel-Gaza conflict.Β By focusing on the Israeli government’s reaction to the speech, the programme had effectively hidden the aspects of the speech which implied criticism of Israel and had shown bias in favour of the Israeli government’s narrative. Β The ECU considered the complaint in the light of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ’s editorial standards of impartiality.
