Complaint
The programme included an interview with an expert in international law about how international law might apply to the conflict in Gaza.Β A listener complained that it exhibited pro-Israeli bias.Β The ECU considered the complaint in the light of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ’s editorial standards of impartiality.
Outcome
In the ECU’s view, the interview in question was a straightforward examination of the areas of international law likely to be relevant to the current conflict in Gaza.  The presenter did not put forward any personal opinions, but confined himself to questions designed to prompt factual answers from his guest.  The ECU found no basis for believing the interview to be biased.
