I am more motivated and feel encouraged to reach my dreams. Things are much clearer on how I can achieve my goals in life. I am loving what I am doing right now.β
WONDER Foundation works in 24 countries across the globe to empower women and girls through education and vocational training, so they can break the cycle of poverty. We partner with local, women-led organisations to meet the needs of each community we work in, and create sustainable change. Thanks to the generosity of ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ listeners, we raised an incredible £16,130 to provide women and girls in our programmes with life-changing education!
Your donation means that a student like Jazmine, whose family doesn’t have the means to support her education, can receive a scholarship to complete her studies. Jazmine has always wanted to be a chef, and is training for a career in culinary arts. With your support, she will receive one-on-one mentoring to develop her confidence, and have the opportunity to complete work placements while she studies.
Women in our programmes are likely to get a job within six months of graduating, and their risk of facing exploitation or abuse is significantly reduced. With your support, women like Jazmine will be able to build a brighter future for themselves and their families. Once again, thank you to all those who supported WONDER’s appeal.
