Huw here again! Tonight's Hottest Record was the return of one of my favourite bands - Wild Beasts. After the Mercury nominated 'Two Dancers' they've made a new album out in the wilds of Wales and this first track sees the welcome return of their beautiful, haunting melodies. If you like slower, spaced out, melancholic music like The XX, James Blake and jamie Woon then dive head-first into the world of The Wild Beasts - you won't be dissapointed.

Hello, Huw here in for Zane. Sometimes, it takes an artist like Tune Yards, and a song like Gangsta, to remind you of the possibilities there are in music. California's Merril Garbus has a second album coming out through the legendary 4AD label in April, and we're reliably informed that this sounds like nothing on the rest of the album. A forward thinking musician not afraid to experiment, and thank goodness for that.
