And yet another hottest record from Breakage. This is getting ridiculous. Following the success of his remix of Claire Maguire's 'Ain't Nobody' this is his first single proper for 2011. We've high hopes for him for next year.

Is there nothing that this man can't do? Not only has Kanye given us one of the most accomplished albums of the year, he can also lay down one of the Christmas songs of 2010! Featuring CYHI DA PRINCE, who appeared on So Appalled, and singer TEYANA TAYLOR. Yeezy is on fire right now.

I know I should relish list-making at the end of every year but i find it quite a challenging task. To condense all this great music into a short list of great albums is not easy, but this year we've managed to do it with little strain. Respect was paid to 5 great albums on the show tonight; Kanye West - 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy', Bombay Bicycle - 'Flaws', The National - 'High Violet', Deftones - 'Diamond Eyes', with extra special tribute to Arcade Fire 'The Suburbs'.

Save the blurb tonight and just wrap your ears around this ferocious slice of club.

First of all, congratulations to Eric Prydz on the birth of his new child. Second, and let's be honest a very distant second, big-ups on the new tune 'Illusion'. This is another masterful journey both creatively and literally judging by the environment in which he makes his beats and is tonight's Hottest Record.

Thunder lightening strike and The Go! Team are back. The band with the 'best song titles ever' have done it again teaming up with Bethany from the band Best Coast on a lovely slice of summer called 'Buy Nothing Day' - tonight's Hottest Record.

Tonight's hottest record is from New York collaboration Creep featuring Romy from The XX. This and new songs being written for The XX follow up is good news all round.

So the Sound of 2011 list is out and Yuck are on it. Beautifully constructed, classic indie pop that sees us into the new year and promises big things. Playing for us at this years Festive Festival on the 20th December, check it out.

Just announced as one of the artists in the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Sound Of 2011 longlist, The Vaccines have already mastered their perfect beat combo pop. This is their 4th Hottest Record in quick succession. Justified.
