Commission Costs
On Monday I mentioned that Assembly members discussed the creation of a new Older People's Commisioner, with an estimated annual running cost of Β£1.5 million. I see that the running costs of some of the other Commissions are included in this week's
Estimated costs for 2009/10 included Β£6.98 million for the Equality Commission, Β£1.264 million for the Victims Commission and Β£1.838 million for the Children's Commission. Other organisations included in the breakdown include the Community Relations Council (Β£8.873 million), and the Strategic Investment Board (Β£6.74 million).
