It must be clear that the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ is not involved in investigative journalism as it is in the UK (e.g. investigaitng Blair's '45 minute claim' or Panorama etc) However, as a regular reader of website, it is obvious that ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ specialises in 'analysis of events and trends'. You can fortify your position in this by adding documentries. I dont think ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ can go into kind of investigative journalism it is involved in the UK in India- simply because there are many channels covering this in India and it will be difficult to ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ to break in to this area. Besides, it would not be added value.

India, like China, is clearly on the rise economically.
Let us hope and pray that they do not let go of their cultural and spiritual uniqueness by following the American way of life. The way of life that consumes itself through individual, collective and corporate greed.
I suspect that as those countries arise, so will many in the West go into decline. It is the way of history. Perhaps we are witnessing a slow, ineluctable shift in civilisations.

I have to agree with David Aaronovitch analysis of the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ's current affair's output. The Daily Politics is fast becoming a joke, nothing more than a vechicle for Andrew Neil to boost his ego and bash the Government. It's quite clear that Andrew Neil has his own agenda and continues to use the show daily to pursue it. Is it really acceptable that ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ allow one man so much infulence over it's current affair's output i.e presenting the Daily Politics, This Week and Straight Talk? Would it not be better to axe him from two of those shows? Better still axe him altogether, i'm sure the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ could a cheaper replacement. What we need is some balance on the Daily Politics, not pandering to the Daily Mail agenda day after day.
