Hello. I thought we'd meet again. Welcome to the latest Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Wales political blog. Older readers may remember my pioneering Wales at Westminster weblog from those pre-broadband days of the early noughties.
Newer readers start here. I'm based at Westminster, where I've worked for more than 20 years, covering UK politics with a Welsh angle. The idea of this blog is to give a flavour of Welsh life at Westminster, letting you know what MPs and peers get up to in your name.
Most blogs have alliterative titles. Not this one. We did deploy some of the finest Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ brains to try to find a snazzy name that would roll off the tongue. Envelopes were pushed, blue skies were thought - and we came up with......David Cornock's blog.
The blog is designed to complement my other TV, radio and online work. It should give you an insight into what I do here....and occasionally make you smile. It will try to check the claims politicians make and see through the spin. It may annoy the odd politician from time to time but that is an occupational hazard.
It is also supposed to stimulate a conversation with you, the reader. Have your say, post a comment, send me a question; let me know when I mess things up. I look forward to hearing from you.
