From Kilimanjaro to Rob DJ...
Afternoon bloggers,
I write this from a very snowy London town. I don't think I've ever seen so much snow here, it's mad. Everyone has resulted back to being either 10 years old and having snowball fights or being 80 years old and worrying about how they're going to get to home! Anyway, I'm trying to look on the positive side, it's all good training for Chris and myself for Kilimanjaro.
I've only got 3 weeks to go until I head out to Africa and have started to get the fear in a BIG WAY. My training has gone really well, so much so, that my legs didn't ache really after we climbed Snowdon on Saturday. It's more the mental fear. Making sure that I've got everything organised, thinking about how to deal with the altitude...things like that. The closer the climb comes, the more stories I hear about Kilimanjaro. Every man and his dog seems to have an opinion, but none of which seem to help! Saying that, I am extremely excited about doing it and feel very lucky that it's my job to go. Chris is going to be reporting from the mountain each day, so you can find out how it's all going. It's going to be my job to make sure that this all happens.

Glad you found it amusing - he is a nice guy! (There were more than two people in the pub by the way but we had to do it in the lounge cos the tap room was just too terrifying)
