    • Data and information

      A computer uses two types of storage. A main store consisting of ROM and RAM, and backing stores which can be internal, eg a hard disk, or external, eg a USB flash drive.

    • Data validation

      Validation and verification are two ways to check that the data entered into a computer is correct. Data entered incorrectly is of little use.
