The events in the last days of Jesus’ life, including the Last Supper and Jesus’ crucifixion, resurrection and ascension, form the basis of many key Christian beliefs. These events are described in each of the four Gospels in the New Testament.

Christian practices are varied and many of them, such as praying, fit into daily life easily. However, there are other practices that may happen only once in a lifetime, such as visiting a pilgrimage site.

Christians believe in one God and they believe that Jesus Christ was his son who died in order to bring humans salvation from sin. A key belief of most Christians is the belief in the Trinity – Father, Son and Holy Spirit, who were all present at the Creation of the world and who all take on different roles.
