The Turner Prize

Array collective won the 2021 Turner Prize.

The Turner Prize is awarded to a British artist. This can mean any artist working mostly in Britain or an artist born in Britain working anywhere in the world.

The focus is on how the artist has used current events that have affected them in their artwork. The Turner prize is named after the famous 19th century artist JMW Turner.

2021 was the first time the prize was given to a group of artists rather than an individual artist.
